Who this is for

If any of this is you —

Four reasons patients walk through our door for an implant consult. Any of them sound familiar?

i.

You have dentures and hate wearing them.

They slide. They make you look older. You can't taste food properly. You worry about them falling out at dinner. There's a permanent solution.

ii.

You're embarrassed to smile in public.

Years of fillings, crowns, and root canals from different dentists have left you with a mouthful of teeth in different shapes and shades. We can give you a single, cohesive smile.

iii.

You've lost one or two teeth over time.

And it's making it hard to chew. You want to order a steak. Eat an apple. Bite into corn. Single and multi-tooth implants put that back.

iv.

You're in constant pain.

Old fillings falling apart. Crowns breaking down. Living with low-grade discomfort because the work to fix it feels overwhelming. We've seen it before. We'll plan it for you.

From Dr. Rauch

A full mouth of teeth that look and feel natural.

I'm Tim Rauch. I've been placing implants in Hollister since 2010. The work I do most: full-arch restorations — replacing a worn-out or failing upper or lower set with a permanent one that chews, tastes, and looks like the originals.

All-on-4 and All-on-6 changed the math. Four to six implants per arch, a permanent set of teeth fitted the same morning, and the patient walks out chewing. The whole arc — from "I can't eat what I want" to a normal lunch — runs about a day for the right cases.

The other part: we do all of it here. Planning, the CBCT scan, the surgical guide, the surgery, the temporary set the same morning, the lab, the final fitting, the year-out follow-ups. One office. Same person at every step. That's why patients who've been told "no" or "you need three referrals first" end up at Sunnyslope.

Rauch Dental — Implants, Sedation, Cosmetics

Implants, sedation, cosmetics — all under one roof at 930 Sunnyslope.

Planning, surgery, the lab, the fitting, and the follow-ups. Same building, same team, same person signing off on the case from consult to two-year checkup.

The plan starts on a 3D image

Surgical-guided placement. Nothing improvised.

Every implant case starts with a CBCT — a 3D cone-beam scan that maps your bone, sinuses, nerves, and existing teeth in millimetric detail. We design implant position virtually before any surgery, then use a surgical guide to place each implant exactly where the plan says.

That's why we can promise same-day teeth for the right cases. The work has already been done by the time you sit in the chair.

Finishing and polishing a permanent dental prosthetic in-house at Tim Rauch DDS
Most of the lab work happens on-site — hours, not weeks. Adjustments happen in the same visit.
How it works

Comfortable, modern, in-house.

Most of our lab work happens on-site, so you don't wait weeks between visits. Here's the process from first call to permanent teeth.

i.

The consult — and a real plan.

We start with 3D imaging, an honest conversation about what you want, and a clear written plan. You'll leave knowing exactly what's possible, how long it takes, and what it costs. No pressure, no upsells.

ii.

Surgery day — often with same-day teeth.

For All-on-4 and All-on-6 cases, we place the implants and fit a permanent set of temporary teeth in the same appointment. You walk in with the old situation. You walk out smiling.

iii.

Healing and the final restoration.

Over the next few months your implants integrate with the bone. We see you for short check-ins. Once healing is complete, we fit the final permanent restoration — the one you'll wear for life.

iv.

Aftercare — in the same office.

Cleanings, adjustments, anything you need going forward, all happen here. You don't get handed off to another practice. You stay with the team that did the work.

A steak, ordered because you wanted one.

Not the "soft option" off the menu. Not chewed in private. A normal dinner where the meal isn't the variable.

Apples. Corn on the cob. Sandwiches with the crust on. Photos with grandkids that don't get reshot.

That's the actual deliverable here.

Implant work isn't an end in itself — it's the door that gets unstuck. Eating real food. Smiling in photos. The rest of a life that doesn't get organized around the next dental thing.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

The most common things we hear at first consultations. If your question isn't here, ask it when you call.

How much do full-arch dental implants cost in Hollister?

Full-arch implant cases vary based on whether you need one arch or both, the type of restoration, and any preparatory work like extractions or bone grafting. Most of our patients invest between $15,000 and $30,000 per arch.

We offer in-house financing that works for most budgets, and we'll give you exact pricing at your consultation — written out, no surprises later.

What's the difference between All-on-4 and traditional dentures?

All-on-4 (and All-on-6) replaces missing teeth with a permanent set anchored to four to six dental implants per arch. Unlike dentures, they don't move, don't need adhesive, and don't have to be removed at night.

They look and function like natural teeth — you chew with them, taste with them, and forget you have them. Most patients describe them as life-changing.

Am I a candidate for full-arch dental implants?

Most adults with significant tooth loss, failing teeth, or current denture-wearers are candidates. The only way to know for certain is a consultation — we use 3D imaging to evaluate your bone, gum health, and overall situation.

We've treated patients other practices said couldn't be done. If you've been told "no" before, come in. We'll give you a real answer either way.

How long does the procedure take?

Many of our patients walk in with damaged or missing teeth in the morning and leave with permanent replacement teeth that same day — using immediate-load implant technology.

The final restoration is fitted a few months later after the implants integrate with bone. Most cases are completed in 4-6 months end to end.

Does dental insurance cover implants?

Many insurance plans cover a portion of implant procedures, particularly when implants replace previously-existing teeth. We work with most major insurance providers and will verify your benefits before treatment starts.

For the portion insurance doesn't cover, we offer in-house financing plans designed for dental implant cases.

How long do dental implants last?

With proper care, dental implants are designed to last a lifetime. The implants integrate with your jawbone and become a permanent part of your anatomy.

The crowns or bridges attached to them may need replacement after 15-20 years, similar to how natural teeth may need crowns at some point in life.

Why choose Dr. Tim Rauch?

Tim trains other dentists in implantology. He wrote a book on full-mouth dentistry. He's placed 4,700+ implants since opening in Hollister in 2010.

The bigger reason most patients pick him: one office handles the whole case — the scan, the surgery, the lab, the fitting, the follow-ups. The handoff between practices is where things get lost; here, there isn't one.

Come in. It's a conversation, not a commitment.

A consult costs nothing. You'll leave knowing if implants are right for you — and if they are, exactly what it costs. Financing from $279/mo. That's it.
